Outreach Projects
Over the course of the first two years of IMSEP operations, a number of exemplary enrichment programs for youth in science and mathematics, as well as outreach and professional development programs for teachers, were funded by the Iowa Mathematics & Science Education Partnership (IMSEP).
These projects, viewable at the links below, advanced the program goals of improving mathematics and science performance of Iowa students; preparing more high quality mathematics and science teachers for Iowa's schools; and promoting statewide collaboration and cooperation in STEM Education.
At the end of fiscal year 2010 this function of IMSEP will cease, though the impact of these funded projects will have long-lasting impact on learners statewide.
