Mathematics and Science Education Institute Coordination and Advancement Center
The institute is a coordinating center for the overall initiative’s research/preparation/professional development mission. The institute serves a funding role for competitive grants across the Regent university system that support IMSEP goals and objectives.
The institute is charged with the pursuit of external funding, the development of new degrees (e.g. elementary specialist), creative licensure solutions, new teacher mentorship and support, curriculum development and testing, and policy issues analysis and consultation.
