Preparing Iowa students for Iowa's future is ongoing and a widespread effort. The Iowa Mathematics and Science Education Partnership (IMSEP) is charged with identifying, supporting and expanding existing professional development programs while developing new efforts where opportunities and needs exist. To fulfill its responsibilities, IMSEP has published a number of reports documenting the status of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education in Iowa, and has held a variety of summits, symposia and meetings to discuss, investigate and develop new ideas and efforts to improve the state of mathematics and science education in Iowa. These events include:
